The First Exchange Credit Program of 2024 Has Graduated!
On the morning of April 3rd, the Graduation Ceremony for the Spring 2024 OJT Program, organized by FPT Japan Academy (FJA), took place, marking the end of three months of study and experience in Japan for 54 FPT University students majoring in Japanese bridge engineers. The Graduation Ceremony was attended by Mr. Trinh Van Thao – Chief Personnel Officer (CPO) at FPT Japan Holdings (FJP), Mr. Kuroda Hideo – Principal of FJA, along with the teaching staff of the institution.
The Spring 2024 OJT Program was quite fortunate to experience both the winter and spring seasons of Japan. Arriving in Japan amidst snowfall, the Graduation took place in warm, cheerful spring weather, ensuring the students had a memorable journey. In addition to intensive Japanese language classes, students also participated in numerous meaningful extracurricular activities, encouraging them to “study hard, play hard”, such as the “I Intern at FJP” program, direct dialogues with Japanese people, visits to Japanese companies, watching comedies, Ninja training, experiencing earthquakes, strawberry picking, and onsen bathing.
Speaking at the Graduation Ceremony, the Principal gave the students the word “Taishi” – “Dream” and borrowed the words of American professor William Smith Clark: “Boys be ambitious”, hoping that the young students would dream big and strive to pursue those dreams.
Mr. Thao, who has been accompanying many OJT batches before, hopes to meet the students again in Japan, especially at FJP. With confidence in the strength and intelligence of the youth, he hopes that they will contribute to the Vietnamese community in Japan, affirming their position in various fields, including IT.
The FJA teachers also shared their excitement and pride in witnessing the students’ efforts and progress in their studies. They expressed gratitude for being the students’ teachers, as the students also taught them many things.
Subsequently, the 54 students were awarded certificates of completion, gifts, and prizes within the framework of the program: Top 3 students with the best academic achievements, Top 3 in the “Japan in My Eyes” photo contest, Top 3 best presentation groups.
FJA hopes that the students will always remember their time studying together at the institution and utilize the knowledge and experiences gained in these three months to strengthen their foundation, steadily stepping into the future!
