Journey to explore japan – japan study tour of fpoly college students: broadening international perspectives
The Study Tour in Japan (November 28 – December 1, 2024) marked the first collaboration between FPT Japan Academy (FJA) and FPT Polytechnic (FPoly). Over four days, 16 FPoly students immersed themselves in an unforgettable journey blending sightseeing with learning about Japanese culture and lifestyle.
The itinerary included visits to iconic landmarks such as Zojoji Temple, Meiji Shrine, Shibuya, Harajuku, and the historic streets of Asakusa. Students also enjoyed culinary delights and explored the cutting-edge digital art museum, TeamLab, a fusion of creativity and modern technology.
They discovered key cultural values, from tea ceremonies to temple etiquette, environmental conservation, and Japan’s renowned discipline in daily life.
Students reflected positively on their learning experience, emphasizing how the trip fostered personal growth and teamwork. This tour was more than exploration—it was a step toward maturity and readiness for future endeavors.
During the tour, FPT Polytechnic signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with FPT Japan Academy, heralding a new chapter in international education collaboration. This partnership promises innovative opportunities for both students and educators, enhancing academic quality and global learning experiences.
