FJA students intern with major client project
On October 25, 16 students from the OJT FALL 2024 program at FJA participated in a one-day internship and company tour at the FBSS (Fujifilm System Services) division—one of FPT Japan’s key clients.
During the program, students worked together to read and analyze complex Japanese business documents, engaging in discussions to propose new business ideas. Through this experience, the students not only gained a deeper understanding of Japanese corporate culture and hiring standards for major companies but also improved their Japanese language skills.
To prepare for this internship, students dedicated hours each day to self-study, mastering specialized knowledge, complex Japanese sentence structures, and honing their presentation skills. Although the preparation process was demanding, everyone felt a sense of fulfillment after successfully overcoming the challenge.
Ms. Ikeda, the head instructor of the OJT FALL 2024 program, shared: “With every credit exchange program, FJA strives to offer new and enriching experiences for students. This one-day internship was particularly challenging, and many students were initially worried about whether they could complete it. However, thanks to their perseverance and dedication, they delivered highly impressive final presentations in Japanese. It was a truly valuable learning opportunity.”
