FJA’s Training Philosophy
Optimizing Learning Efficiency
Instructors at FJA understand the difference between “practical Japanese” and “theoretical Japanese.”
Complex kanji systems that even native Japanese speakers can’t write or literary structures used only by specialized individuals like novelists belong to the category of non-practical Japanese. By balancing the practicality of the Japanese language, the curriculum is designed to be effective and minimize waste.
Extensive Reading Practice
At FJA, students practice reading comprehension across various grammatical structures. With this method, students can grasp the inherent meaning of vocabulary without needing to translate it into their local language. As a result, the number of new structures and vocabulary will significantly increase.
Enhancing Presentation Skills
At FJA, essays are assigned at the end of each week. Students will have the opportunity to speak and present in class. By enhancing their expressive abilities, students practice grammar and expressions while improving their Japanese communication skills.
